In the municipality of Llíria is the church of Santa María, or "of the Blood", dating from the 13th century. It is a typical reconquest church of this area. Its possibly most valuable treasure is inside. It is a Gothic-Mudejar style roof, also from the 13th century, in a fairly optimal state of conservation. Observing the friezes of this coffered ceiling, we find various representations inspired by the courtly life of the time. Some of the characters represented are minstrels and troubadours who play musical instruments contemporary to the work of art and also dance or parade in procession.

Jota Martínez has carried out the organological study of all these musical representations, identifying a total of 19 instruments, some of them repeated, and as a result, the 10 different instruments that were captured in this interesting work of art have been reconstructed.

In this act the book that includes the studies and conclusions of him will be presented.

Presentation of the album "Au Monde", by theorbo player Daniel Zapico, in which he presents new transcriptions of French baroque music for theorbo.

This is a live fortepiano recital featuring CPE Bach, Scarlatti and Soler on a Ferrini replica, followed by the Spanish and Latin American Galant composers Montero' s and Aldana's works, plus Haydn!, performed on a Walter replica. This project includes three lecture recitals that will be available online on the 29, 30 and 31 of March.

This concert will mark the first collaboration of the Seville Baroque Orchestra (Orquesta Barroca de Sevilla) with Jonathan Cohen, founder and conductor of the Arcangelo ensemble. A match that will definitively bring out the timbre variety of this great baroque orchestra through the music of four of the most exalted masters of the 17th century as a celebration of the Early Music Day. From one of Handel's Water Music suites to those taken from Rameau's operas, passing through Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 1 or the Zelenka's superb Simphonie à 8 concertanti (so rarely attended, due to its difficulty!), the concert is presented as a true virtuosic tour de force and as a resounding triumph of color and melody.
